To celebrate Cork LGBT+ Pride 2019 and to raise awareness of the challenges facing LGBT+ people living in Direct Provision in Ireland, Is Rainbow Muid will screen their short video and hold a Q+A on Saturday 3rd August at 17.00 in Gay Project Ireland. All are welcome! LGBT Ireland facilitates a monthly peer support group for LGBT+ people seeking international protection in Ireland. The group is called “Is Rainbow Muid, We Are Rainbow”. A new addition to the Cork Pride events calendar is our Interactive LGBTI+ Walking History Tour. Cork has a long and rich LGBT+ history that everyone should know. This is not your average walking tour, we’ll also be making pitstops at historical sites where you can check out some fantastic LGBT+ exhibitions, grab a free tea or coffee in an LGBT+ establishment and we’ll even have a quiz with some great prizes to be won. Throw on your trainers and come along to what promises to be a fun learning experience!
